Little Red Door Cancer Agency is getting ready to celebrate its 75th anniversary. That’s 75 years of helping the underserved cancer community of Central Indiana make the most of life and the least of
cancer. Because of this, Little Red Door is asking their friends to celebrate with them by completing a Random Act of Kindness for the week of June 6-13.
You can help Little Red Door accomplish 7,500 random acts
of kindness by completing one yourself! Acts can be simple like picking up trash on your morning walk, buying a cup of coffee for someone or sending a friend a handwritten note.
Let's spread some kindness and celebrate! #LRDKIND
What are random acts of kindness?
Random acts of kindness can be small or very significant. It can be as simple as picking up a dropped pen for someone at work or it can be surprising your significant other with flowers after a long day as work. It could also be donating to an organization
in your community or volunteering at your local animal shelter. A random act of kindness comes from the heart and can change someone’s day or life depending on the act. You never know when someone may be having a rough day when you decide
to do a random act of kindness and change their mood around.
Our company’s partnership with Little Red Door
Indiana Farm Bureau Insurance has a long-term partnership with Little Red Door. Our employees and agents have volunteered
for many Little Red Door events throughout the years and have always loved supporting their cause. The organization is definitely an employee favorite!
Our company volunteers have helped make blankets and care packages for cancer patients. These small acts of kindness can bring smiles to faces of individuals who are going through extremely tough times. Volunteers can make
someone’s day by spending a few hours of their day giving back.
For several years, Indiana Farm Bureau Insurance has also partnered with Little Red Door Cancer Agency for Cancer Survivors Day at the Indiana State Fair. We are pleased to participate again this August at
the Indiana State Fair, and we can’t wait to help celebrate cancer survivors and all that the Little Red Door does for our community.
The Little Red Door Cancer Agency is all about helping those who have experienced the unimaginable. We can all take a little bit of time out of our days to help someone else and create a more positive, inclusive and friendly world.
