About me

Jim Cassoday is your local Porter County agent with Indiana Farm Bureau Insurance. With a background in both insurance and as an award-winning broadcast personality, Jim is passionate about guiding clients through life's uncertainties. He is committed to educating clients and providing world-class personalized service. Jim and his wife, Erin, and their three children, Regina Katie, Rexie Renee and Ryan Marie, attend Nativity of our Savior in Portage and enjoy creating their family vlog on YouTube. Away from the office, he is active in the Knights of Columbus in Griffith and enjoys music, videography and smoking meats. Jim is a graduate of George Rogers Clark High School and Goshen College, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in broadcasting.
