Meet Matt Lucas
As the owner of the Matt Lucas Agency, I aim to help the people in our local community create the best-case scenario for the worst-case scenario by providing the coverage they need. I am passionate about building long-lasting relationships, being accessible and proactively helping my clients accomplish both short- and long-term goals. I live in my hometown of Seymour and enjoy golfing, focusing on my fitness and health, as well as coaching and mentoring young collegiate and post-grad athletes. Active in our local community, I am the President of the Jackson County Impact Group, Inc., a group of businesses that raises and donates funds to local nonprofits in need of financial assistance. Additionally, I am a member of the Chamber, the Jackson County Young Professionals Group, the finance committee of the Jackson County United Way board, and serve on the business relations committee on the Schneck Foundation in Seymour. I was also the youngest individual to receive an MBA at Oakland City University and earned many accolades as a men’s basketball athlete including being a two-time national champion and top 25 scorer all-time in program history.
