  • Read all operator’s manual for equipment and machinery
  • Work area must be well-lit and well-ventilated
  • Everyone must know the location of the first aid and safety equipment
  • Allow only experienced personnel on the farm machinery
  • Keep track of keys at all times

  • Do not allow any horseplay in work areas
  • Always make sure gates are secured
  • Approach animals with care; move slowly and never approach an animal from behind
