Reduced paid-up coverage Reduced paid-up insurance allows you to continue your life insurance coverage without paying additional premiums, but the initial death benefit will be reduced. This is effective when your need for life insurance protection reduces throughout your life.
No medical exam Depending on an individual’s age, amount of insurance applied for, and medical history, the underwriting process may not require the individual to submit to an exam, blood drawn or urine specimen.
Guaranteed level premium The premium is guaranteed to remain the same throughout the insured’s lifetime or applicable policy term.
Guaranteed death benefit When purchasing a life policy, you will decide on how much of a death benefit you require and for how long. Your death benefit is guaranteed to remain the same, all you have to do is pay your premium on time.
Cash accumulation Cash accumulation refers to the tax deferred cash that builds inside a whole life or return of premium term life insurance policy. The cash accumulation addresses the savings feature, which can be utilized in the future.
Accelerated death benefit for terminal illness A living benefit that allows you to access virtually all of the death benefits prior to your death, if you are diagnosed with a life expectancy of 12 months or less.
Lower premium at the beginning of the policy With an Annual Renewable Team (ART) policy the amount of the death benefit remains constant, the premiums are initially inexpensive, but the premiums increase each year.
Provides lifetime coverage Whole life insurance is designed to provide permanent coverage throughout your entire life. It will not reduce, and will remain in force your whole life if you continue to pay the premium.
Accelerated death benefit for chronic illness A living benefit that allows you to access a portion of the death benefit in advance of your death. To qualify, you must be diagnosed with a qualifying chronic illness.
