INDIANAPOLIS
– Indiana Farm Bureau Insurance announces the promotions of Philena Mead to
director of integrated risk and strategy, Eliese
Davis to senior manager of organizational development, and Brian Poole to
executive director and chief actuary.
Mead has been with
the company for thirty years in various positions in the Property and Casualty
Division—most recently, director of business systems. Originally from
Effingham, Illinois, Mead has a bachelor’s degree in marketing and a master’s
degree in business administration from Indiana State University. In her free
time, Mead roots for the Indiana State Sycamores and enjoys spending time in
Brown County.
Davis
joined the company in 2021 as manager of Talent Development, a position she
held until being promoted. In her new role, she plans to connect other
employees and agents within the company to long-term strategies. After earning
a bachelor's degree from Eastern Michigan University, Davis received a master's
degree from the University of Indianapolis with a concentration in finance.
Originally from Columbus, Ohio, Davis resides in downtown Indianapolis. In her
free time, she enjoys traveling overseas and spending time with her Boxer and
Great Dane mix, Stella.
Poole
was previously director and chief actuary and is looking forward to “helping to
use data and analytics to drive strategic decisions,” said Poole. The
Evansville native now resides in Indianapolis with his wife, Angie. The two
enjoy spending their free time at the lake.
