Indiana Farm Bureau Insurance announces Indianapolis promotions

Eliese Davis, Brian Poole and Philena Mead Headshots!


INDIANAPOLIS – Indiana Farm Bureau Insurance announces the promotions of Philena Mead to director of integrated risk and strategy, Eliese Davis to senior manager of organizational development, and Brian Poole to executive director and chief actuary.

 

Mead has been with the company for thirty years in various positions in the Property and Casualty Division—most recently, director of business systems. Originally from Effingham, Illinois, Mead has a bachelor’s degree in marketing and a master’s degree in business administration from Indiana State University. In her free time, Mead roots for the Indiana State Sycamores and enjoys spending time in Brown County. 

 

Davis joined the company in 2021 as manager of Talent Development, a position she held until being promoted. In her new role, she plans to connect other employees and agents within the company to long-term strategies. After earning a bachelor's degree from Eastern Michigan University, Davis received a master's degree from the University of Indianapolis with a concentration in finance. Originally from Columbus, Ohio, Davis resides in downtown Indianapolis. In her free time, she enjoys traveling overseas and spending time with her Boxer and Great Dane mix, Stella.  

 

Poole was previously director and chief actuary and is looking forward to “helping to use data and analytics to drive strategic decisions,” said Poole. The Evansville native now resides in Indianapolis with his wife, Angie. The two enjoy spending their free time at the lake.
