Clark County and Floyd County Indiana Farm Bureau Insurance offices recognized for outstanding sales efforts

AJ Humes Governor Agency

(Indianapolis) – Feb. 17, 2025 – Indiana Farm Bureau Insurance proudly announces that A.J. Humes and his agency’s offices have earned the Governor Agency award, which is awarded to the agency with the top sales record in the company.

Humes started his career with Indiana Farm Bureau Insurance in 2016 as an agent in the New Albany office. In 2022, after a restructuring of agencies, he became the agency manager of a newly formed agency that includes Clark and Floyd counties.

“Winning this award is a humbling accomplishment, but I did not achieve it myself,” said Humes. “The members of my team deserve the spotlight. They cared for our clients and went above and beyond in every situation.”

Humes, who oversees the six offices in the two counties, attributes their collective success to a willingness to “get after it every day,” which serves as an agency motto.

“We have a lot of individuals who are driven to succeed,” said Humes. “They also have a desire to help protect the members of our community from the unknown. That’s why we have achieved so much as a team this year.”

The Clark-Floyd Indiana Farm Bureau Insurance agency has offices in Charlestown, Floyds Knobs, Jeffersonville, New Albany and Sellersburg.
